Penis Pimples

Pimples can occur anywhere where sebaceous glands are located. A pimple,
which is the blockage and inflammation of a sebaceous gland, can even occur
on the penis. The scrotum is an area that is particularly prone to pimples
as well as the lower part of the penis shaft. The number of pimples that
occur on the penis can range from just one to many and can sometimes occur
in rows.
The pimples also tend to become more visible when the penis is erect. Also,
as with any pimple, if the penis pimples are squeezed, white puss should
come out.
Pimples on the penis can cause any male to worry about having an STD. If it
looks like a pimple and puss comes out upon squeezing it, it is likely a
pimple. However, if there is still worry as to whether or not it is a
sexually transmitted disease, it is a good choice to make a visit to the
doctor to clear the mind of this matter.
Be wary of using facial treatments on the genital region. Some acne
treatments are not meant to be applied to the penis and could end up at the
doctor’s office with even more embarrassment. Make sure to check the label
of any acne treatment to be sure it’s safe to use down there. The skin on
the penis is very delicate and some of those “refreshing” and “minty cool”
acne washes should only be applied on the face or back.
Acne can ruin a day on the face and really make someone wince for a while
when it’s in the genital region. Try a natural acne pimple treatment method
on those areas where the more delicate skin is and remember to visit your
doctor if anything down there starts to worry you.
